TU College of Law Invites Alumni for Homecoming

Before you read further, get a pen and your calendar. The University of Tulsa College of Law will sponsor several events for alumni during TU's Homecoming celebration this year. All law school alumni are invited to enjoy the fun and fellowship with fellow alumni.

Friday, October 30, will include a free CLE featuring a Faculty and Alumni Showcase Series lecture by Margaret Cain (JD ’99). The subject of Cain's talk will be "A Day in the Life of an SEC Enforcement Attorney.” The lecture will take place at noon in the Price & Turpen Courtroom at John Rogers Hall. CLE credit will be available to attendees. Anyone seeking CLE credit should register with Heather Rahhal at (918) 631-3320 or heather-rahhal@utulsa.edu.

Also on October 30, from 9:00 p.m.  to 11:00 p.m., you can join TU alumni and College of Law alumni for the fifth annual TU on Tap. Light hors d'oeuvres will be available, and there is no charge for this event that will be held at McNellie's Sidebar, 409 East 1st Street. TU on Tap is open to alumni of all ages.

On Saturday, October 31, the Fifty Years or More Breakfast will be held from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. in the Great Hall of the Allen Chapman Activity Center. TU will honor the Class of 1959 as they are inducted into the Fifty Years or More Club. All 1959 law alumni will receive a free breakfast ticket courtesy of Dean Janet Levit. Additional tickets may be purchased in advance for $20 through the TU Alumni office.

The TU College of Law Homecoming Tent Party and Class Reunions will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Chapman Commons. The cost is $10.00 per person and includes a complimentary t-shirt. TU Law graduates of classes 1969, 1979, 1989, and 1999 are invited to celebrate their reunion as guests of the College of Law by giving their name and graduation year at the entrance.
