Jamie McDonald addressed alumni, staff, and students at the Annual TU College of Law Alumni Luncheon on November 17 at Tulsa’s Crowne Plaza Hotel. The luncheon was held in conjunction with the Oklahoma Bar Association’s Annual Meeting. McDonald’s presentation was entitled, “The Supreme Court: An Overview from a Law Clerk’s Perspective.” McDonald clerked for U.S. Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Jr. in 2009-2010. McDonald also discussed his Supreme Court clerkship experience at a faculty colloquy on November 1 at the TU College of Law.

Judith Royster spoke about tribal energy development at the William Mitchell College of Law’s inaugural Indian Law Conference on October 25. This event is planned to be an annual event.

Ray Yasser and Sean Hanlon (JD ’06) presented “Does the NCAA Exploit College Athletes? Rights of Publicity, EA Sports and the Video Game Industry” at the Faculty and Alumni Showcase Series lecture on November 19 at the TU College of Law.
