1970
Walter A. Harris was elected for South Miami, Florida's Group IV Commission seat in his first run for public office. The commissioner has served on the city's Community Relations and Charter Review boards as well as in the South Miami Alliance for Youth and the Green Task Force. He has been president of the South Miami Homeowners' Association three times. 

1997
Michael J. Leonard was hired to serve as a partner of Philadelphia intellectual property law firm Panitch Schwarze Belisario & Nadel LLP. He will head the Trademark and Copyright department.

1998
Mark Eichelman was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) in the United States Army JAG Corps in April 2009. In May 2009, he received an LL.M. in Environmental and Natural Resources Law from Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon. In June 2009, he and his wife, Paige (Nickols) Eichelman (BS '92) moved to the Washington, D.C. area where LTC Eichelman now serves as the Chief of the Resource Sustainment and Restoration Branch of the Army’s Environmental Law Division. His article, “Ringling Brothers on Trial: Circus Elephants and the Endangered Species Act” was published in the 2009 edition of Lewis & Clark's Animal Law Journal.
