Students Preparing to Enter the Legal Market

The TU College of Law’s Professional Development Office (PDO) is launching the "Preparing to Enter the Legal Market Lunch Series" this spring, with professionals speaking to students about important career topics.

The series begins March 2 with "How to Thrive in a Small Town." All presentations are in the Price & Turpen Courtroom in John Rogers Hall. Other topics include "Hanging Your Own Shingle" on March 9, "Alternative Career Panel Discussion" on March 23, "How to Market Yourself as a Free Agent" on March 30, and "Judge’s Insight on the Keys to Being Successful in the Courtroom" on April 5 with The Honorable Gregory Frizzell of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma and The Honorable Thomas Brett (retired), formerly of the Northern District.

The series is free, and students can sign up to attend on Symplicity. Lunch is free. Non-students who wish to attend should contact the PDO in advance.
