TU College of Law students Ryan Childress and Matt Day recently won the Redbud Classic for the second year in a row.
The regional moot court event, hosted by TU Law, pitted two TU teams against two teams from Texas Wesleyan School of Law. TU Law students Nicholaus Hancock and Isaac Shields earned second place.
Students in the event are given a hypothetical fact pattern and have to prepare to represent both the plaintiff and defendant. One student gives an opening statement while the other student gives a closing argument.
The TU teams qualified for the event by competing in an all-TU moot court competition.
