TU Law Welcomes OBA Annual Meeting to Tulsa

The University of Tulsa College of Law welcomes the 2011 Oklahoma Bar Association Annual Meeting to Tulsa on November 2-4 at the downtown Hyatt Regency Hotel. It will be both an educational and fun experience for attendees and a great opportunity for networking with the state's legal professionals.

The TU College of Law will welcome alumni and friends to a luncheon during the Oklahoma Bar Association Annual Meeting on Wednesday, November 2, at noon in the Tulsa Ballroom North at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Tulsa at 100 East 2nd Street.

TU Law Assistant Professor Sam Halabi will be the featured speaker, and his topic is "The Law and Politics of Recognizing the New Libyan Government."

Student honorees at the luncheon will be:

Russell Ramzel, OBA Outstanding Student Award

Bradley Brown, OBF Fellows Scholarship

Ryan Childress, OBF Chapman-Rogers Scholarship

On November 3, at the Family Law section meeting during the OBA Annual Meeting, TU Law students Michael Nomura and Rachel Massingill will be honored as recipients of the OBA Outstanding Family Law Award for their work both in and out of school in the family law field.
