TU Law Now One of Few Law Schools to Accept Applications for Spring Start
Monday, October 10, 2011
The University of Tulsa College of Law is accepting applications for new students to begin class in the spring 2012 semester. TU is one of the few law schools in the country to offer a spring start for first-year students.
April Fox, TU College of Law Assistant Dean for Admissions & Financial Aid, said the decision to reactivate the spring 1L class is in response to a growing number of applicants who prefer not to wait until August to begin their law school education.
"A spring entry term offers an ideal opportunity for prospective applicants to get a jump start on their legal education," Fox said. "A spring start provides needed flexibility and will be of particular interest to those who graduated in August 2011 or who will graduate in December 2011."
Those who wish to apply may do so at the LSAC website at www.lsac.org. The application deadline is December 5, 2011. Applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
