Spring 2012 Law Class Begins at TU
Thursday, January 05, 2012
Seven new students took their first steps into the legal world today at the TU College of Law.
TU is one of the few law schools in the country to offer a spring start for first-year students. The new class began the same way the fall class does, with Foundations of Legal Study, a five-day program designed to prepare students for the study of law and to explore the professional obligations of law students and lawyers.
The seven students who make up the spring class are from Oklahoma and Texas. They have an average grade point average of 3.17 and an average Law School Admission Test (LSAT) score of 155, which is in line with the high academic qualifications of TU Law's recent fall classes. A varied class as always, the group includes a business owner, a landman, and an English major.
