Professor Judith Royster's edited collection of essays with Prof. Barb Cosens of the University of Idaho titled The Future of Indian and Federal Reserved Water Rights: The Winters Centennial has been published by UNM Press.

In this detailed collection of essays, lawyers, historians, and tribal leaders explore the nuances of the Winters Doctrine, the Supreme Court decision that determined when land is set aside for the use of Indian tribes, that reservation of land includes reserved water rights.

Royster also moderated a session on cultural sovereignty at the TU Symposium on Material Memory held at the Gilcrease Museum May 18-19.
