Professor Tamara Piety's book, Brandishing the First Amendment: Commercial Expression in America, has been released in paperback. The book explores the legal, political, and philosophical themes surrounding corporations' efforts to gain more First Amendment protections for commercial speech.
Professor Piety is a renowned scholar on the legal treatment of commercial and corporate speech and has contributed to numerous periodicals and publications, including Michigan Law Review First Impressions, Case Western Reserve Law Review, the Cardozo Law Review, the Temple Law Review, the Seattle Law Review and others.
