Accomodations

 UCD

While in Dublin, you will live in apartment suites at the University College Dublin (UCD), in either Roebuck or Glenomena Hall, on the Belfield campus. All students will have a single room in a six bedroom apartment. Each room has its own shower bath. There is a small kitchen with a range, microwave, and small refrigerator and communal living area in each suite. The dorms at UCD now have free Internet access.  The charge for the apartment suite in Dublin for the summer of 2010 is 27 euro per day for 28 days.  The final amount in dollars will depend on the rate of exchange at the time of payment to UCD.  This amount will be available in late spring 2010.

Non-student spouses or other adult family members are welcome to join the program, if space is available. Please consult the Program Director to determine if arrangements can be made for children.  Each additional person would be charged a separate housing fee for a room. Please let us know as soon as possible if you would like to bring family members with you. UCD does have some apartments that accommodate students with physical challenges.  If you need special accommodations, please contact us as early as possible so that we can determine the availability of these facilities.

We will be sending out suitemate questionnaires to place suitemates, and we will do our best to accommodate requests and preferences in this regard. Assignments are often not finalized until immediately prior to commencement of the program.
