The University of Tulsa College of Law recognizes the importance of being financially prepared to start law school. In addition to the scholarships provided by TU College of Law, students are encouraged to research scholarships available through external funding. The following list has been compiled to assist prospective and current students from under-represented groups: (Please note that many of the criteria and availability of these scholarships are always subject to change.)

ABA's Law Student Awards, Competitions, Grants, and Scholarships

ABA Legal Opportunity Scholarship Fund grants 20 incoming diverse law students with $5,000 of financial assistance and may be renewed for two additional years, resulting in $15,000 of financial assistance.

Buckfire & Buckfire, Diversity Scholarship

Davis Wright Tremaine grants two scholarships for first-year students who participate in the summer associate program with partner and associate mentors. Then, in their second year they receive a $7,500 scholarship.
