Riggs, Abney, Neal, Turpen, Orbison & Lewis Reference Library Reference Services

If you need assistance in your research, help in finding materials, instruction in the use of automated services or print sources, the Reference Librarians will be happy to provide these services. The Reference Desk is located opposite the Circulation Desk area. Reference Librarians are available on call during the hours of 8am-4:30pm Monday through Friday and at the Reference Desk Monday - Friday 1pm - 3pm. The Circulation Desk staff can also help with directional questions and will refer you to a librarian for more complex problems.

Computer Based Research/Electronic Resources

The MLIC subscribes to a variety of titles in an electronic format. Most of these electronic resources are available to all MLIC patrons.  A few of the titles available in electronic format are listed below, see http://mlic.utulsa.libguides.com/elres for the complete list.

  • ProQuest Congressional - includes indexes and abstracts for Congressional materials, as well as full text of some publications.
  • LegalTrac - available from the MLIC homepage, this database provides indexing for legal and non-legal periodicals.
  • Westlaw Public Access: The MLIC has a subscription to Westlaw available at dedicated terminals in the Schwartz computer lab. The subscription includes most primary and secondary materials available on Westlaw.
