New Business
OKLL versus OLL: The members discussed different acronyms to use (OLL versus OKLL). The vast majority of members preferred OKLL, and OKLL was adopted as the acronym. Ann's firm has offered to foot the bill for the $10 fee to reserve the group's name.

Joint Meeting with MAALL in October: Lou Lindsay announced the upcoming MAALL meeting from October 19-21 which will be held in Jenks at the Best Western Aquarium Inn and Suites. The Local Arrangements Committee is looking for volunteers to help with the registration desk, decorating, technical support, the "dine arounds," and the excursions.

Please contact Lou if you would like to volunteer. David Gay announced that MAALL is seeking suggestions for programs at the conference. Please contact David with your ideas. The keynote speaker at the conference will be William Bernhardt.

Members' Articles Web Page: Ann discussed the members' articles web page which was created by Dan Bell. The purpose of this page is to highlight the writings of OKLL members. Feel free to submit your articles if you would like to be included.

OU Library Student Orientation in August: Courtney Shelby suggested that members of OKLL meet with OU Library School students during their orientation sessions to answer questions about careers in law librarianship. She passed around a sign up sheet for volunteers. Volunteers would need to be available for about 1 œ - 2 hours. The fall orientation session will be held between August 16-18, and there are sessions in Tulsa and OKC. Courtney suggested creating a Tulsa team and an OKC team for the orientation. There will also be a summer orientation session. Contact Courtney if you would like to be involved or if you have additional questions.

SWALL - Oklahoma Legislative History Panel: David Gay reported that SWALL is looking for law librarians to serve on a legislative history panel at the upcoming SWALL conference. David also reported that SWALL conducts an annual program on legal research for non-law librarians. He asked if the members of OKLL would have an interest in doing this.

Next Meeting
