Now that I have enrolled, what’s next?
Thank you for completing the enrollment process! Please find attached (and below) some information you may find helpful as you prepare for your first year of law school. We are excited to welcome you to the TU College of Law community!
All enrolled students are issued a user account that will permit them to access various campus computer services. With your student ID# (which is on the bottom of your acceptance letter), go to http://www.utulsa.edu/activateaccount to activate your new computer account. Enter your student ID and last name on this form and a verification code will be sent to the external email address on your student record. Please enter this verification code in the field provided on the activation form. If you have already activated your account but cannot remember your username, please click the "Find My Username" link located at http://www.utulsa.edu/it.

EMERGENCY CONTACT HOLD
There has been an automatic Emergency Contact Hold placed on your account. To have this hold removed, please log into WebAdvisor, https://webadvisor.utulsa.edu, click on "Students," and you will see the following message at the top of the page: "NEW! - All students must have at least one Emergency Contact Name and Phone Number on file before registration. This is the person(s) who should be contacted in case of an emergency. You may enter up to four different people in the system. Please go to the Emergency Contact Info page to maintain your information." Click on the link in that message to enter your emergency contact. By going through these quick steps, your hold will automatically be lifted.
All enrolled students will be able to obtain parking permits. Please take a moment to review the following information.
Dates to register for parking permits:
• Resident Students: To be announced later this summer.
• Non-Resident Students (living off campus): To be announced later this summer.
The registration link you will use to secure your parking permit can be found by going to http://www.utulsa.edu/parking. On the left hand side, click on Parking Permits - this will show what dates the specific permit classifications will become available.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR PARKING PERMIT/REGISTRATION
To complete this procedure (LATER), please follow the below instructions:
• Log on to http://www.utulsa.edu/parking.
• Click on "Registration" on the left.
• Keplinger & Rogers Lot (KR) is the lot closest to the Law School. 4th & College North (CON) is the second closest just to the west of Boesche Legal Center.
NOTE: If you attempt to go to the registration page prior to the designated dates announced later this summer, you will be directed to a general parking information page. At the bottom of this general information page, there will be a sentence that reads "not yet available." However, if you go to this page at 8 a.m. (or any time thereafter) on or after the designated dates (TBA), you will be able to complete your parking registration. We recommend securing your parking as soon as possible after 8 a.m. on the designated dates. If you try to access this page before the TBA date, you will be able to purchase a ticket but it will be for Summer 2013 only and not the Fall and Spring semesters you want.
ADA Parking Permits
You will need to register your vehicle by purchasing a permit in order to park on university property. Your current approved state ADA permit along with a current TU parking permit will allow you to park in any ADA space on campus. (A shuttle permit is available for $25.00.) If no ADA space is available near the Law School, you can go to an ADA space in another lot (but you cannot park in a regular space unless your permit is for that lot) or any space in a shuttle lot. For assistance in obtaining a temporary disabled parking permit, please contact the Parking and Card Services at 918-631-3360.

STUDENT ID CARD
You may obtain your student ID card after you have enrolled. IDs are available the business day following enrollment. You can come to the campus anytime (M-F) this summer to obtain your ID. Please bring your schedule and a photo ID.
Your first Student ID is FREE but any future replacement IDs will cost $15.00. To avoid lines, feel free to get your ID before August 1st. The ID may be obtained at the Parking and Card Services Office, in William F. Fisher Hall (formally Twin West) on the TU campus (2821 East 8th Street). Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For more information call 918-631-3360 or 918-631-3361 (fax number is 918-631-3362).
EMERGENCY TEXT MESSAGING SERVICE
The University of Tulsa makes the e2Campus text messaging service available to better serve the safety needs of its students, faculty and staff. After signing up for this service, you will receive urgent messages on your cell phone in the event of an emergency. There is no TU fee for this service; however, you may pay a nominal fee to your cell phone carrier which is consistent with the fees required to receive any other text messages. Receiving an emergency text message does not require any specific cell phone carrier, service or technology.
To sign up for this service, please log into your myTU account. On the main page, under “Other TU Services,” you will find “Emergency Contact Registration.” Clicking on this link will bring up a new window with information on how to enroll into this very important program.
The Business Office usually applies tuition in bulk at interval times according to the date our law students enroll. The statements are now sent to students’ WebAdvisor account and can be viewed online. An email notice will be sent to students’ TU email address when the statements are available for viewing. Therefore, if you haven't already received an email notice from the TU business office, you should be receiving it soon.
Tuition is due by the first day of class but the business office welcomes those who have enrolled and been billed to pay it sooner if they like. Therefore, you may pay your tuition anytime between now and the first day of class. McClure Hall is the business office. It is number 27 on the campus map. There are teller windows inside the building where you pay your tuition. If you have questions, the main number for the business office is 918-631-2600.
Payments may also be paid online at www.utulsa.edu/offices-and-services/controller.aspx, click on “Make A Payment."
If you desire to pay your tuition in installments via a payment plan, go to www.utulsa.edu/offices-and-services/controller/documents.aspx and click on "Monthly Pament Plan" which will provide you with the necessary details for a monthly payment plan. Also, feel free to call the phone number above to inquire about this option.

MANDATORY HEALTH INSURANCE
The University requires that law students enrolled in 6 or more hours have adequate health insurance. The cost of this insurance will be automatically charged to the tuition account. If you have health insurance of your own and do not wish to have student health insurance, you must submit an online waiver to www.aetnastudenthealth.com on or after July 6 and before August 24 to have the charge reversed from the tuition account. Campus Housing - If you desire to live close to the law school, campus apartments designated specifically for law and grad students are conveniently located just a couple of blocks away from the law school on Fourth Place in Norman Village. To begin the process of letting our housing office know that you wish to live on campus, the first step is to go online and complete the housing/dining license. Admitted students may NOW submit a housing/dining license. To complete the housing agreement go to CaneLink, follow the instructions provided indicating your housing location preferences and submit your license with the required $250 reservation fee/deposit as soon as possible. After submitting this form, you will receive a confirmation email from campus housing with additional information explaining the process of apartment assignment.
IMPORTANT: To log into CaneLink and complete your housing agreement, you will need to activate a TU user account and obtain your TU Username. You can activate a TU user account online at http://www.utulsa.edu/activateaccount. You will be required to enter your TU Student ID number and last name to access your TU Username. Your TU student ID number may be found at the bottom of your formal acceptance letter. However, if you have misplaced that letter and would like for our office to provide your ID# to you over the phone, feel free to call 918-631-2406 and be ready to provide either the last four digits of your social security number or your LSAC ID number.

Off Campus Housing - There are a variety of off campus options available in Tulsa. Some students wish to rent a house with a yard, others prefer condos, lofts or duplexes. For those interested in apartment living, please see the below links to assist you in your search.
If the Office of Admissions learns about houses for rent or sale, we will post these announcements on the 1L Facebook page. Alternatively, if you wish to work with an independent apartment locator, Mr. Jerry Kirkpatrick works at no cost to our admitted students. You may reach him at 918-749-9305 or at TulsaJerry@aol.com . Please note, however, that students are under NO obligation to select an apartment recommended by Mr. Kirkpatrick.
Oklahoma Law requires that all new students who attend Oklahoma colleges and universities provide proof of immunization for certain diseases. Failure to comply with this requirement could result in a Hold being placed on future enrollment. Please click here for the Immunization Form you will need to complete as well as important immunization information. Please take the time to read the immunization information carefully as postponement of this requirement may result in unnecessary frustration for you once your fall schedule becomes full with studying.
NOTE: Medical, religious and personal exemptions are allowed by law and such requests may be made in writing using The University of Tulsa Certificate of Exemption form available online at the above link. Click on "Immunization Certification of Exemption" to access. You will also find general information about immunization requirements on this website.
If you are planning to apply for federal financial aid and have any questions, please contact our Office of Student Financial Services for assistance. Also, please note that if you haven’t already done so, you will need to complete the FAFSA as soon as possible. You may access the FAFSA form by going to www.studentloans.gov.

CHANGE OF ADDRESS
As we draw closer to the beginning of Fall classes, we will continue to contact you with information that will be important for you to know. In order to do this, it is crucial that we have the most recent and reliable contact information for each of our incoming first year students. If you have had a change of address, e-mail or phone number, please contact Rosemarie Spaulding at email@example.com or 918-631-3163 as soon as possible. We need to keep records updated so that you may continue to be informed throughout the summer.
Please remember that prior to matriculation you must arrange for an official, original copy of your undergraduate transcript (showing degree conferred) to be mailed to the attention of Jen Grantham at the College of Law.
PLEASE NOTE that the transcript included in your LSAC CAS report does NOT fulfill this requirement.
A facebook group has been created just for you and your colleagues call 'Tulsa Law Class of 2016.' You should have already received an e-mailed invitation to join but if not you can search for our group through facebook and request to join. We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to get to know others in your entering law class! Postings about campus events and important upcoming dates may also be found on this facebook page.
The majority of text books will arrive in the campus bookstore late July. To check book availability and to order online, you may log onto www.tulsa.bkstr.com. The campus bookstore phone number is 918-631-2206. Beginning August 1st, store hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Fall textbooks may be returned, with receipt, through September 7, 2013. As of date, no books for the Fall semester have arrived. AUGUST 18, 2013, FOUNDATIONS IN LEGAL STUDY
Mandatory orientation of Foundations in Legal Study (FLS) will begin Sunday afternoon, August 18th. Registration for FLS will begin at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 18th, in John Rogers Hall. Please click here for a full tentative schedule of the week's events.
