Alumni Ambassador Program

The University of Tulsa College of Law invites our alumni to help the Office of Admissions recruit highly qualified students.  Prospective candidates are eager to know why you chose TU College of Law and how our law program prepared you for the practice of law or other non-traditional professional pursuits.  You and 5000 other alumni nationwide have an opportunity to play a significant role in helping us continue to attract a more qualified student body.  Your outreach to these candidates will help us achieve our ongoing goal to enhance the academic profile of our student body, as well as to further the College of Law's reputation for excellence in teaching, scholarship and service.


There are many ways you may serve as a point of contact for admitted students whose decision to attend our College of Law could depend on personal outreach from an alumnus in your geographic area.  Some of these recruiting activities are outlined below and are also available for you to select on the link to the Volunteer Form.

  • Direct contact with targeted admitted students by email or phone
  • Send letters to admitted students.  Letters to be sent may include a congratulatory letter, a letter describing TU's strengths, or a letter describing your personal experience and your career path
  • Assist the Office of Admissions with recruiting at college fairs and pre-law events
    Participate in panels for recruiting events
  • Participate in events surrounding Pre-Law Day (Spring of every year on campus) and/or Pre-Registration Day (Summer of every year)
  • Participate in on-line chats
  • Host or attend receptions for admitted students
  • Invite admitted students to lunch or dinner or
  • Conduct applicant interview, if requested.
