Law Firm Challenge

The Law Firm Challenge gives TU College of Law alumni a unique opportunity to make a difference in the life of the law school and reconnect with fellow alumni in a fun and challenging way. Law firms that employ multiple TU Law alumni are invited to participate by designating a challenge representative. Each representative will encourage their firm’s TU Law alumni employees to make annual fund gifts to the school with a goal of achieving 100% giving participation. Firms that reach the 100% giving challenge will be recognized on the TU College of Law website, in the annual report, and on designated signage in the school’s Professional Development Office.

The Law Firm Challenge runs July 1, 2013 – April 30, 2014. However, a special recognition is reserved for the first firm to reach 100% participation, and any firm reaching 100% participation by December 31, 2013 will be designated as a “Pace Setter” in our program materials.  Additional recognition will be presented at the Reunion Weekend Gala.

Why the Law Firm Challenge?

Increase alumni giving participation to the College of Law
The alumni participation rate is the percentage of TU Law alumni who make a gift of any size to the College of Law during its fiscal year (July 1 – June 30). Increased participation not only means more financial support for important law school programs and initiatives, but the participation rate also influences TU College of Law's national reputation and serves as a measure of alumni satisfaction with the TU Law experience.

Increased exposure for your law firm
Your firm’s participation demonstrates your commitment to The University of Tulsa College of Law.  Firms that reach the 100% giving challenge will be recognized on the College of Law website, in the annual report, and on designated signage in the school's Professional Development Office to be viewed by hundreds of alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends of the law school.

Strengthen the sense of community and pride in TU Law alumni
This challenge is designed to highlight and strengthen the connections TU Law alumni have in law firms throughout the state. This is a unique opportunity for alumni to come together and make a difference in the life of the law school.
