TU Law Gala Celebrates Alumni Accomplishments

The University of Tulsa College of Law Alumni Association held its annual gala on May 19 at Southern Hills Country Club to honor the accomplishments of its alumni.

Receiving special honors at the gala event were TU law alumni John R. Woodard III, who received the Presidential Service Award, and Jim Poe, who was recognized with a lifetime achievement award.

"This event is a marvelous opportunity for our alumni to gather in celebration of a shared experience as alumni of the TU College of Law, as well as honor the outstanding work of our alumni," said Robert Butkin, dean of TU College of Law.

The event was organized by Samantha Weyrauch Vaughn, Leslie Shelton, Alison Wade and John R. Woodard III.
