The entire legal community is invited to the 2008 installment of the TU Law Chilifest Cookoff on April 4, which will take place for the first time on the floor of the University’s Donald W. Reynolds Center.

Lawyers, judges, students and all TU law school alumni are encouraged to enter their favorite chili recipe in one of four categories and compete for the coveted title of "Best Overall Chili." The four categories are: best traditional chili, best non-traditional chili, most creative recipe and best presentation.

The event moves to the Reynolds Center for the first time in 2008. Law school alumni coordinator Muriel Hakim said the new venue will allow teams and patrons plenty of space and will enhance the atmosphere of the event.

"The entrants put a lot of time and effort into their chili and, overall, this is a very energetic event," Hakim said. "Bringing Chilifest to the Reynolds Center will put it in a facility that is built for competition."

Parties interested in participating in or sponsoring the TU Law Chilifest Cookoff should contact Hakim at (918) 631-3320 or muriel-hakim@utulsa.edu. Registration forms will soon be available at the Law School Alumni Office or on the Alumni Association’s web site: http://www.law.ututlsa.edu/alumni/.
