Due to The University of Tulsa’s success in the College Basketball Invitational, the TU College of Law has moved the location of its April 4 Chilifest Cookoff to the Collins Fitness Center, 502 S. Delaware. The time and date of the event have not changed.
The event is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m., Friday, April 4. Attendees are asked to park in any of the on-campus lots along 4th Street. A complimentary TU shuttle will begin running roundtrip at 6 p.m. from the lots to Collins Fitness Center.
Chilifest originally was scheduled to be held at the Donald W. Reynolds Center. With the success of TU’s men’s basketball team in the CBI postseason tournament, the championship series could make a home game necessary on Friday night.
“It’s unfortunate Chilifest won’t be able to utilize the Reynolds Center but we are all thrilled to see the basketball team in the CBI finals,” said Janet Levit, dean of the TU College of Law. “Our staff and the fitness center staff already have preparations underway and we’re absolutely confident Chilifest will be just as successful and enjoyable at the new location.”
