Friday, March 04, 2011

Bloomberg Businessweek magazine ranks the Collins College of Business undergraduate business program number 33 out of all the business schools in the U.S. The TU program was the only Oklahoma school ranked in the top 50.

The magazine gave TU A’s in both teaching quality and facilities and service. The survey selected only 139 schools to review and based rankings on nine measures including student satisfaction, postgraduate outcomes and academic quality.

Survey respondents were graduating seniors and corporate recruiters. They were asked to grade the schools on who turned out the best graduates, had the best innovative curricula and effective career services. To see the complete survey and criteria click here.

The AACSB internationally accredited undergraduate business program at TU focuses on teaching students how to apply what they learn and how to become valuable citizens of the global workplace. The undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree includes majors in accounting, energy management, finance, management, management information systems, and marketing, with various areas of specialization and minors.
