Integrated study of financial and managerial accounting, income taxes, information systems, and auditing used to support business processes. Generic business events of service, manufacturing, merchandising, and not-for-profit entities are analyzed. Themes include income, cash flows, economic resources, obligations and capital. Provides a foundation for later courses in the Accounting sequence. Prerequisite: Acct 2123 with a grade of C or higher. Corequisite: MIS 3003.
