Ted K. Jacobs
Heading up the TU Energy Management Center is Ted Jacobs, a landman who spent 20 years in the energy industry working for Getty Oil, TXO Production, Tidemark Exploration and ONEOK, Inc. A well-known figure in the oil industry and a successful energy management program director, Jacobs brings immense credibility to TU's new energy management program. He is a tremendous asset to TU students and to the energy management program. Jacobs' first university position was as director of the energy management program at the University of Oklahoma - a program he successfully rejuvenated and brought to national prominence after enrollments fell dramatically due to the 1980's oil slump. He brings 10 years of energy management program teaching experience and his numerous energy connections to The University of Tulsa.
