Our curriculum is designed to address the needs of students with varied interests and goals. The options available to accounting graduates are limitless. A Bachelor of Science in Accounting requires the successful completion of 124 hours of coursework. In addition to the major core requirements listed below, each student must complete the basic requirements for a BSBA.
Our curriculum is continually reviewed and adapted to ensure that our graduates have both the specific skills and the broad base of knowledge necessary to ensure their success as business information professionals and as productive members of the business community.
Oklahoma, as well as most other states and jurisdictions, requires candidates for the CPA exam to have completed at least 150 semester hours of college credit. Of this total, 76 semester hours must be upper division courses and 36 semester hours must be upper division accounting courses (3000 level and higher), including one auditing course. Our curriculum is flexible enough to allow students to meet these requirements in a variety of ways. This can be accomplished with a single-major undergraduate degree, with a double-major undergraduate degree or in conjunction with a graduate degree.
