Professor Gebhart, retired US Army Colonel, served in the US, Europe, and Southeast Asia before joining the faculty at TU. During this time he served in Infantry and Armor units as well as Division and Army level headquarters as a comptroller and program & budget officer.

In addition to his teaching responsibilities at TU, Gebhart is a lifetime cattle rancher. He is currently a member of the Oklahoma Beef Council Board of Directors, chairman of the Tulsa State Fair Ringmasters and serves as a director or officer on several beef industry boards in the state of Oklahoma.
