TU Athletic Training Day

Saturday, September 27, 2014 from 08:00 AM to 10:00 PM

Learn about the Athletic Training Profession and experience an NCAA Football Game.

The Athletic Training Program is excited to host its annual TU Athletic Training Day on Saturday, September 27th. This program allows high school students who are interested in a career in athletic training and their parents the opportunity come to campus, learn more about the profession and the program at TU, see athletic trainers in action, and experience the excitement of college football.

The program begins with presentations about the athletic training profession, preparation for a career, and employment opportunities. Students who attend also learn about opportunities at The University of Tulsa. Next, the students and their parents tour campus athletic training facilities and see certified athletic trainers and athletic training students in action. After the tour, the program will move to Chapman Commons for the pregame meal with the Golden Hurricane Club. The program concludes with tickets to the TU football game versus Texas State. As part of the registration fee, each student receives a ticket to the game as well as up to 2 tickets for his/her parents.

Registration includes a long-sleeved T-shirt, pre-game meal, and football game tickets for the student and parents. Parents who attend can purchase additional pre-game meals.
