Robin Ploeger

Clinical Associate Professor of Athletic TrainingCurriculum Director, Athletic Training ProgramChapman Hall 355

When I began my professional career as an athletic trainer, I was more interested in clinical athletic training practice. But through the years, I gained a greater interest in athletic training education. Thus my focus now is as an instructor and administrator in the CAATE accredited athletic training program at TU. My involvement in the athletic training profession has mainly been through serving on committees related to needs of students within athletic training.

Classroom teaching is a research area of interest. It is my belief that students need faculty members who are not only knowledgeable about the subject matter but also knowledgeable about teaching techniques to be an effective instructor. I enjoy working with young faculty to help them gain the skills they need to be successful teachers.
