Dr. John Coward Receives Fellowship

Dr. John Coward, Associate Professor of Communication, has been awarded the 2010-2011 Jay and Deborah Last Fellowship in American Visual Culture at the American Antiquarian Society in Worcester, Mass. His project, part of his on-going work on Native Americans in the nineteenth-century press, is called “Cartooning with Savages: A Cultural History of Native American Images in the Popular Press.”
