Bachelor of Science in Economics
The B.S. degree in Economics is designed to provide students with a strong general background in economics preparatory to law school, graduate studies and /or employment in the private or public sector. Those aspiring to graduate study in economics should take as many mathematics courses as possible whether they pursue the B.A. or B.S. The curriculum requires all students, under the supervision of an economics faculty member, to complete a research project in some area of the student’s interest. Individual counseling is provided for all students.

**Nine (9) hours required at the 3000-4000 level.
