Student and Graduate Updates

There are many Film Studies graduates currently working in the industry and the Department of Film Studies is working at tracking all graduates. Please contact the Film Studies office if you are a Film Studies graduate to update with your current projects and titles.

Congratulations to Film Studies graduates and current students on your current projects and internships! Congratulations to students who have accepted internships in the recent year: Cory Watson with Ackerman McQueen. Steven McDonald with FOX23 News and also his internship with Skynet Solutions, LLC. Amanda Rainey has interned with Gitana Productions, LLC and has been hired as a script supervisor. Andrew Giannetto and Matt Schmitz have interned with Impact Productions. Bailey Ardies accepted an internship to Cannes Film Festival.

Students who have been or will be studying abroad are: Brandon Baney in London, Caitlin Dyche in Ireland, and Anna Bennett studied in Ireland.

Congratulations to Claire Edwards, who has worked on a film documentary with Sterlin Harjo. The documentary was accepted into Cannes Film Festival.  Zack Litwack is also a Film Studies graduate who has been very active in the local film industry. He currently serves as Coordinator and Instructor at the AHHA Film Institute & AHHA Film Series. He is also a member of the Arts & Humanities Council of Tulsa at the Hardesty Arts Center. Several TU Film Studies graduates work with Narrative Imperative Productions, including Drew and Alex Allen. Graduates Chris Galegar and Chris Long are currently teaching in Film.

Congratulations to Cameron Buckley, a recent Film Studies graduate who has accepted an assistantship at Indiana University where he will be attending the MFA program in Digital Art.
