Film Studies program objectives


Students who complete the undergraduate program will:

  1. Acquire the analytical skills to understand film and film texts as well as their formal, historical, technological, industrial, and social properties.
  2. Develop a thorough understanding of film production from script to final edit and the technological tools used in making film.
  3. Understand the business of film and how to implement this knowledge in pursuing a career in film.
