"Hibakusha Stories" Testimony of Atomic Bomb Survivors

The TU History Club and the Youth Arts of New York present atomic bomb survivors Shigeko Sasamori and Toshiko Tanaka who will discuss the events and aftermath of the bombing in Hiroshima, Japan on August 6, 1945.

The first atomic bomb ever deployed, the explosion leveled 90 percent of the city, killing 80,000 people from immediate impact and radiation exposure.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Lecture begins at 7. Light refreshments will be provided.

The event is free and open to the public.
