SurveillanceMcCoy’s talk titled “Surveillance State: Foreign Wars and the Rise of the U.S. internal security apparatus” focused on the information revolution of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries and how neocolonial agents deployed these technologies in the Philippines and back home in the U.S.
