Faculty Spotlight~Dr. Brian Hosmer

Dr. Brian Hosmer is program Chair for an upcoming TU Symposium celebrating the 100th anniversary of Woody Guthrie's birth.  "Different Shades of Red" will feature three panels of distinguished scholars who will discuss the roots of Guthrie's political sensibilities, his musical influences, and how his ideas and music continue to resonate through the decades.  The symposium is scheduled for March 19-11, 2012, and the populist political commentator Jim Hightower is confirmed as the keynote speaker.
