In my classes, I share with my students my experiences of living, studying and traveling in Mexico, as well as my interest in music, art, movies, food and literature. My goal is to increase the students' awareness of Hispanic culture, and for them to gain appreciation for another language as well as the ability to use it. I encourage communicative participation in Spanish to develop their speaking and listening skills, and teach grammar principles to aid them in their effective written communication.
