Sarah Coakley is the Norris-Hulse Professor of Divinity, University of Cambridge, where she holds the established chair in philosophy of religion, and a Fellow of Murray Edwards College. A leading Anglican theologian, she has previously held positions at the Universities of Lancaster, Oxford, and Harvard, and a visiting professorship at Princeton. In 2012, She delivered the prestigious Gifford Lectures at Aberdeen, “Sacrifice Regained: Evolution, Cooperation and God.” In 2012 she was also elected a member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts.
