Philosophy program objectives
Students who complete the undergraduate program will:
- Critically understand and evaluate major texts, thinkers, and ideas in leading Western intellectual traditions.
- Distinguish and to interrelate philosophical and theological inquiries and methods.
- Develop the ability to identify and to understand alternative points of view between philosophical figures and traditions, as well as to understand the debates internal to particular traditions.
- Enabled to pursue further studies in graduate and professional programs.
Religion program objectives
Students who complete the undergraduate program will:
- Critically read and evaluate major religious texts and traditions.
- Distinguish and to interrelate philosophical and theological inquiries and methods.
- Develop the ability to identify and to understand alternative points of view between religious traditions, as well as to understand the debates internal to particular traditions.
- Enabled to pursue further studies in graduate and professional programs.
