SSIG sponsors an evening lecture and a noon seminar delivered by Dr. Constance Borde and Dr. Sheila Malovany-Chevallier, Monday, October 25, 2010.
Dr. Constance Borde and Dr. Sheila Malovany-Chevallier presented a talk titled "The Relevance of Simone de Beauvoir Today: The Second Sex for a New Generation" sponsored by SSIG. A book signing was held before and after the evening lecture. The authors also held a seminar at noon. Dr. Borde and Dr. Malovany-Chevallier reside in Paris, France, and have been traveling in this country on a book tour with their book, The Second Sex.
