Jenny Guy is a TU Theatre Alum with an MFA in Acting from the University of Arkansas, where she performed at the Kennedy Center as a national finalist partner for the KC-ACTF Irene Ryan Award. She spent a year as the only female performer at a comedy improv club, as well as a year as a resident company member with the Know Theatre of Cincinnati where she played such roles as Mae in Reefer Madness!, Diana in I Love You Because, and the Widow in Vigils by Noah Haidle. After turning down an offer to join the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company she toured the country with a children's musical. She regularly works with TheatreSquared in Northwest Arkansas, originating a role in a world premiere musical and most recently, playing Gretchen in their production of Boeing, Boeing.
Ms. Guy has directed and taught for Tulsa Community College's theatre program, and is the Artistic Director and co-founder of Tulsa’s Shakespeare in the Park, where she co-directed "As You Like It" in 2011. In 2012, she was in a world premiere musical with Tulsa Project Theatre, all three productions in LOOK Musical Theatre's summer season and starred in a Summerstage cabaret with Rebecca Ungerman. This fall, she will be strapping on her tap shoes to play Columbia in "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" with Tulsa Project Theatre and couldn't be more thrilled to begin working with the amazing talent at TU Theatre.
