Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art

The B.F.A. in Art degree with emphases in the studio areas of ceramics, graphic design, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture (66 hours, which includes 12 hours in required Art History minor) enables students to enter professional careers in art and to find their place in contemporary artistic practice. It is the degree most often required for admission to graduate programs offering the M.F.A. degree, the most accepted terminal degree in art and the degree required for college-level teaching.
