CrucibleBoth as a tool and as an image, the crucible has become an evocative unifying element in the art of a small but significant group of sculptors working in crafts media. Artists of "The Crucible Project" exhibition work collaboratively in clay, metal and glass without concerns for ownership, fusing design and technical expertise in the production of a collective body of work. The "Crucible Project" is curated by Whitney Forsyth.
