Professor Forsyth Included in International Juried Exhibition of Contemporary Craft

Craft Forms 2012 , 18th International Juried Exhibition of Contemporary Craft. Craft Forms is an exhibit dedicated to the public awareness of fine contemporary craft while providing a venue for established and emerging artists alike to share their creative endeavors. Craft forms is open to all professional artists working in clay, fiber, glass, metal, wood or mixed media crafts.
Juror Cindi Strauss is Assistant Director, Programming and Curator for Modern and Contemporary Decorative Arts and Design at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston. She chose 100 works from 800 entries for the 2012 exhibition. Whitney Forsyth, TU Associate Professor of Art, was fortunate to be chosen as one of these artists. Her work “Ravens and Red Berries” is a 50 ft long ceramic installation that was highlighted in the exhibition. For more information please go to
