"Winter's Chill" Chorale Concert

The University of Tulsa School of Music Cappella Chamber Singers and TU Chorale will present their fall choral concert, "Winter's Chill" under the direction of Dr. Kim Childs Friday, November 9 at 7:30 p.m.
The concert will feature Allyson Eskitch, pianist, in a performance by Cappella Chamber Singers of Morten Lauridsen’s “Mid-Winter Songs”. In addition, the choirs will perform Lauridsen’s haunting “O Magnum Mysterium” and Britten’s ”A Hymn to the Virgin” in double choirs. TU Chorale will present Holst’s “Lullay my liking”, Thompson’s “Alleluia” among others, and Cappella Chamber Singers will sing Whitacre’s “Lux Aurumque”, Pärt’s “Bogoróditse Djévo, Biebl’s “Ave Maria”, and others.
The concert, which will be held in the Gussman Concert Hall at the Lorton Performance Center.
