TU Vocal Students place in Competition

April 18th at the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) Conference and Competition

The TU Voice Department reports that TU students gave outstanding performances on April 18th at the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) Conference and Competition. NATS is one of the nation’s oldest and most respected solo vocal competitions.

All six TU vocalists placed in the first round of the competition. In the finals, TU senior Tim Petty placed Second in Senior Men and TU junior Phena Hackett placed Third in the Adult category.
