At the Barthelmes Conservatory on April 24, 2009
Two TU String Quartets participated in the Strings Day Seminar offered by the Cypress String Quartet and hosted by the Barthelmes Conservatory on April 24, 2009. The Cypress Quartet performs over 90 concerts around the world each year, and they are further distinguished by their use of exceptional instruments, including violins by Antonio Stradivarius (1681) and Carlos Bergonzi (1733), a viola by Vittorio Bellarosa (1947) and a cello by Hieronymus Amati II (1701).
