William Roger Price performs music from the entire piano repertoire and has premiered his own piano concertos in Europe, an exceptional accomplishment for an American pianist. Price has performed often in Europe and throughout the United States, has been heard on NPR’s nationally broadcast program Performance Today and has appeared on five continents through Portuguese Radio/Television. Price has performed with such orchestras as the Warsaw National Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Jerzy Swoboda, the New York Solisti with Ransom Wilson, and The Tulsa Philharmonic with Bernard Rubenstein and the Oklahoma City Philharmonic. He also performs with Trio Tulsa, the resident piano trio of The University of Tulsa, where he holds the position of Professor of Music (Piano and Composition). Price’s compositions are played worldwide, including premieres in Ukraine, Poland, Portugal and Cypress. His recordings are available on the MMC and Capstone Records labels.
