Research

Faculty research is conducted in the areas of normal and atypical communication processes and swallowing, such as language development in bilingual children and augmentative and alternative communication systems.

Ongoing research in the Department of Communication Disorders through the Mary K. Chapman Speech and Hearing Clinic provides hands-on experience for students and expertise for faculty.

Undergraduate research sets The University of Tulsa apart. For more information about TU's commitment to student-led, faculty mentored research, visit the Tulsa Undergraduate Research Challenge (TURC).
