How's the Weather?
Tulsa enjoys four truly distinct seasons, so no matter your favorite time of year, you'll have weather to look forward to on campus.
When students arrive on campus in late August, there are plenty of warm summer nights ahead. "Welcome back" cookouts are common and there's still time to lay by the pool after class.
Late October typically brings cooler weather, and the leaves change colors all over campus. Even though the days are getting shorter, high temperatures in the 70s are the norm.
Winters in Tulsa are typically mild, but there's usually one or two snowfalls a year. Better get your snowball fighting done while you can! Most winter days are crisp and sunny.
Once March and April roll around, it's warm, sunny days ahead as the city bursts with color from the dogwood and redbud trees. April is a great time to visit nearby Woodward Park to stroll among the hundreds of azelas.
So be sure to pack a coat for the winter, but you'll definitely want to bring several pairs of flip-flops. Current Tulsa Weather Conditions
