Duties of the Position: Have an interest in Big-time college sports and communications? Then, this is for you! Assists with the publicity of Tulsa's 18 intercollegiate sports, daily interaction with athletes and media, helps maintain photography database, work sporting events, assist national, state, and local media in covering The University of Tulsa athletics, assist in maintaining the official athletic website at tulsahurricane.com, using online software at netitor.com, assist in writing press releases, archive historical photos, memorabilia, news clipping and player files, organize media pre-game meals, other general daily office duties, polo shirts and other athletic perks will be provided, and pre-game media dinner provided for football and basketball games. Skills Required to Perform the Position: Public relations skills, working knowledge of computers, and writing skills. Knowledge and experience in sports is beneficial.
