Technical Theatre Staff

Duties of the Position: Employees will work Lorton Performance Center events which include, but not limited to, concerts, plays, dinners, speakers, dance, musical theatre, opera, and special events.
Duties will include, but are not limited to, lighting, sound, video, projection, stage management, house management, ushers, fly men, deck hands, carpenters, and riggers. All hours are show/event based. This means we schedule as needed for event set-ups, shows and load out. Students must be able to work some nights and weekends.
Skills Required to Perform the Position: A technical theatre background is preferred but not mandatory. AV and computer skills are a plus. This is a hands-on job and we will teach you certain specialty skills as needed. Employee must be able to lift 50 lbs.
